It felt as though everybody I knew was having an adventure of their own over the Christmas and New Year period. And considering i'm normally the one who travels, I was subconsciously getting cranky about not having a trip of my own. I was feeling antsy, and bothered and wanted to escape the chaos of Sydney just for a little while. Making it my first adventure for 2017. So, what did I do? I grabbed my best friend, threw everything in the back of the BMW and drove three hours down to the south coast of NSW. And what a relief it was to get there. A tropical paradise. An oasis, just for a couple of days. And it was ours. From Hyam's Beach and Jervis Bay, to Berry and Kiama, and to Berry all the way to the Royal National Park. It was a tropical road trip adventure. One that I desperately needed before the chaos of the new year that was about to begin all over again. Below is a photo journal of the trip.
Who would have thought? Three days alongside you, and out of the city- cleared my head and made me feel completely recharged by the time we returned.
